So, what’s it like to have me with you on the day?
Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot and shouldn’t feel like it is. It’s a day full of real emotions, real people and real connections.
My goal is to capture all of this and more. I want your photos to reflect what your day really feels like. When you look back on them you’ll remember what you were thinking or feeling in a moment. The way he glanced at you during speeches… that sparkle in her eye… the anticipation right before walking down your aisle. So I’m not a silent observer. I’ll be part of your celebrations, blending with your guests to capture the good times, and moments big, small, quiet, exciting, fleeting and beautiful.
Most of the time you'll forget I'm there. I'm a relaxed, easy-going person and my approach to photographing your wedding is calming and lighthearted. I’ll give you some gentle direction and support when you need it, and we’ll embrace who you really are as a couple.
At the end of our time together you will have a collection of honest, intimate and beautiful images that tell the story of your day. Something you can treasure and share with friends and family for generations.

Where are you?
I live in Brisbane, Australia. I love to travel and regularly roam countrywide and internationally to photograph weddings. Chat to me about your plans and ask me about my special rates for destination weddings.
What is it like to work with you?
It's effortless. What I hear most from my couples is that our time together was relaxed, fun and special. We keep things short and sweet, and there tends to be a lot of laughter. Sometimes happy tears when things get real. I'll always give you gentle direction if needed.
How much?
Wedding coverage starts at $4000 for six hours and is $5200 for up to 10 hours. Elopements start at $2400. I can also tailor a package to suit your exact needs. So get in touch with me here, tell me about yourselves and your plans so I can send you all the details.
How long do we wait for photos?
You'll have a private sneak peek of 5-10 photos (or an extended gallery for full day weddings) the week following your wedding. Your full collection of high resolution photos will be available 6-8 weeks after your wedding as a beautiful, password protected online gallery. Ready to download and perfect for sharing with friends and family. Portrait sessions usually take a little less time at 4 weeks.
Can we meet you?
Absolutely, let's meet over a coffee (or wine), or video, chat details and get to know each other. I'd love to find out all about you and what is most important to you about your wedding and photography. I also offer consultation and advice on your wedding day timeline, photo locations and lighting. If you're based interstate or overseas that's fine too, we can connect over video chat.
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?
Of course! I’m fully supportive of all people, and love in all it’s forms. I strongly believe everyone should be free to legally marry their favourite person.
Do you photograph elopements?
Oh yes, I love elopements! There's something so special and intimate about exchanging vows in secret or with your best friends witnessing. Chat with me about your plans and destination.
We’re nervous about having our photos taken!
There's nothing to be nervous about, I promise. For most of your day I’ll blend in, I’ll be like an extra friend you didn’t know you had. Portrait sessions are very relaxed, full of laughter, real personality and genuine emotion. We’ll make some beautiful, creative images together and have fun while we do.
Do we need a second photographer?
Most weddings I shoot on my own, I love it that way and will confidently capture everything you need. Though for weddings with 150 guests or more, or if you're getting ready in locations 20 minutes drive or more apart, a second photographer is recommended and I'll happily organise for someone amazing to join us.
Can we have group photos?
Of course! Family group photos are important and will be treasured always. This is something I recommend we do soon after your ceremony, and I request a list of names for each group (to keep things efficient and quick).
How do you store our photos?
Obsessively. Once I've photographed your wedding all files are backed up right away on multiple hard drives and off site. Your finished photos are then kept for another year online.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes, I offer beautiful, heirloom quality fine art albums. Get in touch with me for some information about them. I also offer a range of fine art prints… there’s nothing quite like holding a precious photo in your hands. For all the details get in touch.
How do we secure our date?
Booking with me is easy. With a $2000 booking fee paid and a signed contract, we're locked in. All via an easy online client portal.

The power photos can have to tell a story has always fascinated me. An image can transport you back to a place, a moment, a feeling or a thought with one glance.
15 years ago I photographed my first wedding, and more than 600 later my passion for making photos of people in love is stronger all the time. Being part of one of the most significant days in my couples' lives is a true honour. And being trusted to document all the emotion, connection, and ritual of these deeply personal ceremonies and celebrations is both a privilege and wildly inspiring to me.
Though I do love travelling the world with camera in hand, my favourite place is at home with my partner, Dan, curled up on the couch with our two kitties (Lucy & Sophie). My heart is happiest when I’m surrounded by nature and animals, or relaxing with friends, family and good food & wine.

From the second I found her Instagram account, I knew Ash was the perfect wedding photographer for us. The people in her portraits look natural and happy, and her photos evoke so much emotion.
